This necklace is made from transparent, deep cobalt blue Murano glass beads. Many, but not all of the beads have then had a piece of gold foil burnt onto the bead to give an antique effect, intentionally not covering the whole bead. Each bead is 12mm diameter and then shaped to a small "pebble" in a natural organic shape, The necklace is strung on Italian waxed cotton with knots between each bead. The closure is a bicone bead which fits through a loop in the cotton.
