This necklace is made from opaque black glass. Many, but not all of the beads have then had a piece of silver foil burnt onto the bead to give an antique silvered effect, intentionally not covering the whole bead. Each bead is 12mm diameter and then shaped to a small "pebble" in a natural organic shape, The necklace is strung on Italian waxed cotton with knots between each bead. The closure is a bicone bead which fits through a loop in the cotton.
